No dropdown menu after changing language

I had this strange issue when i change the back-end language to Arabic and try to add new products , i cannot select products category and/or use any of the drop down list options .

any idea?

Hey, I just had the very same issue! Check under Configuration -> Shop - Language settings. Activate the little icon: no fallback. That should do it  !
