Change Payment Option

VirtueMart 3.0.18.5 - We are running into a problem when a user receives an error on payment (Credit Card fails) they are kicked back to the payment page - all good there but if they choose 'Change Payment' and fill out new payment details it does not hold those values - it returns to what was originally entered. HELP!!!!!
