Need assistance - 2 errors

Joomla 3.6.5 Virtuemart 3.0.18
Thanks in advance for reviewing and/or responding to this query.
I have setup my site and I am getting 2 errors.
1. NOTICE - You must provide at least one recipient email address.
2. WARNING - JUser: :_load: Unable to load user with ID: 708

I get both errors when successful checkout.

I also have issues when I first go to check out.  If I don't check the TOS then I get a reminder.  I click on the TOS check box and click the button "Check out Now".  It freezes.  Then I refresh the cart (exit it and come back in) and the box is already checked, the button turns to "confirm purchase" and it goes through.

I (the vendor) do not get an email advising that the order has been placed but the customer does.

Hopefully somebody can assist me.

Sounds like you have used a quickstart Joomla/VM package?   http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=108212
