Adding Country (Sark) to VirtueMart default Country list

I realise that keeping Country list up-to-date and complete is a non-trivial task. How can I ask Virtuemart to include a country in the default list - not just for me but for Virtuemart from now on?
I noticed in the current Country list that Jersey is listed - correctly as it is a different location, shipping and tax regime to the UK (and different legislature).
I would like to ask that Sark is also available in the default country list. Sark is a Channel Island (as is Jersey), it has a UN Country Code 680 http://unstats.un.org/unsd/methods/m49/m49alpha.htm, a different legislature and - importantly for shopping - a different location, shipping costs and tax regime to the UK and Jersey.
OK, we are quite small, but that makes it even more important for us not to be "lumped in" with other territories.
