ACL error COM_VIRTUEMART_ALERTNOTAUTHOR

Hello,

I work on a PHP 5.5.9 Apache environment, Joomla 3.4.4, VM 3.0.10 - it was firstly installed as Quickstart package some month´s ago, updates of Joomla and VM were done by myself.

I have set up a special usergroup called "Shopmanager" with parent group manager, for product-editing etc. privileges at the backend. All works as expected but one thing is strange, maybe a bug:

This usergroup has, of course, editing rights for products, product categories, shopusers etc. - forbidden are reports, config and other sensitive areas. When my user (only in the Shopmanager group) tries to edit a product, he gets an error message and is thrown back to the control area of VM:
COM_VIRTUEMART_ALERTNOTAUTHOR

So I tried to set some products as created_by this user, because the message seems to mean that he only could edit own entries, but whithout success.
Can someone verify this as a bug or gets the same behaviour?
