I want in some categories products to not load vm 2.6.x

Hi, i want i some categories to not load the products, so i use categories layout but the products stills loads (but don't showed) and the database queries is the same as default layout, is any other way to don't load products in some categories?

Why add a category for a product and don't display it in this cat ?

I add products in parent categories, but in parent categories i dont want to show them.  The reason tha i add them is to display them in product modules
