After upgrade to 3.0.8 no products in list in backend

Hi 

First, this site is public but not yet fully setup for production.
The few products that was added was listed in backend in 3.0.6 but after the upgrade to 3.0.8 the list is empty.
The product are still in the database since they are shown on front page.

We tried everything we could think of to get the list up again but nothing.
We added a new test product and that one is shown in the list but not the old ones and it also work on the front page.
Even though I don't believe it, have we changed some setting to get this behavior?
The picture below shows the newly added and only showing product.

UPDATE: and since the 3.0.9 is a security thing and can't think of that fixing this, but we'll add that too later

PHP: 5.3.29
J!: 3.4.3 (also before the upgrade of VM)
VM: 3.0.8 (upgraded from 3.0.6)
MySQLi: 5.5.42-cll-lve
