Orders not updating from Pending to Confirmed.

Hello

Installed:

Joomla v3.4.3
VM: 3.0.9

Paypal Payments Pro plugin
Paypal Express plugin.

All was working fine.

'Suddenly' orders not updating from Pending to Confirmed even though successful payment notification received from Paypal.

Manual update required and then email sent to Customer and to Admin.

Advice on what to check or possible cause(s) will be gratefully received.

Tested by placing an order myself.

"Thank You" page is generated with order details.

At the end of the page the following message appears:

"File for Model pluginresponse not found."

I have searched but cannot find any reference to it anywhere.

There is a file:

/components/com_virtuemart/controllers/pluginresponse.php

I think that may be an old VM2 file

Also, the item purchased remains in the cart.
