How to mass assign products to a language?

I'm using VM 2.6.6 and recently made my store multilingual. I didn't originally understand that I need to assign each product to my new languages - I was under the impression that it was sufficient to simply translate the product categories, and the products would appear under the new language.

I have 900+ items: if I don't want to change any of their details and just assign them "as is" what is the best way of doing that en-masse?

I have "store manager" but they say it can't mass associate my products without making/changing their details(!!)

I also downloaded CSVImproved but I don't see instructions on doing such a type of mass update. Is it enough to reference the translated category name in one column and the associated SKUs in the next?

Any suggestions?

Hi,
I have developped VM BE PRO.
He can mass add/copy missing language for product.

You can see the tutorial explaining how to mass add your missing languages at youtube :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFFKv2u4meY&list=PLYQ9rB_F7nGO3gNplLRDZl7jvfdcxO0tH
YOu can buy it at : http://shop.st42.fr/en/products/vm-be-pro-batch-product-edit.htm.
It work for Joomla 2.5 and Joomla 3. VM 2 and vm3
YOu can use it for all product fields not only languages and can edit all the translation (or other fields) directly without loading each product.

Greets,
Patrick
