Incorrect database saving for Shipment methods in multilingual setup

Have an issue with the shipping methods. I'm on a version Joomla 3.4.1 plus Virtuemart 3.0.7

I can create a shipping method in all 4 languages on my site, but when I want to edit any of the entries, all I get is a blank form. 
When I select a specific language for that blank form, the message that pops up is :

Example: "no (fr-fr) translation in Shipment Method, please fill the fields with flags".

Once I click the OK button on the message popup, the flags for that specific language shows up.
However, there is still no data and the same occurs for each language.
In addition the configuration tab merely contains the usual message:

Please select a Shipment Method in the tab Shipment Method Information and click on Save button to display the appropriate parameters here.

I have also checked the database and found that in the base language (german in my case) all the entries are in _virtuemart_shipmentmethods_de_de
But in the other languages one has a translated version of one method, and the other languages have not been added to the tables at all. So the database is not being correctly fed, by the looks of it.

It also appears to be impossible to delete any shipping method defined, except directly in the database.

At present, I have no way to edit anything at all here. Can you help?

Hi again

I have installed version 3.07.4 and deleted all entries for shipping in the database.

Tried to create a new shipping item and now the shipping doesn't work. All that happens after the first save is the same message:

Error
vmError: VmTable #__virtuemart_shipmentmethods_en_gb Check not passed. Neither slug nor obligatory value at shipment_name for auto slug creation is given 1840
failed

No choice available in configuration.

I'd really appreciate some comments and feedback, as this is an essential item for my client.
