Hello there,

I use vm 2.6.10 and joomla 2.5.x.

I have a problem to some orders at the backend area. So, when you visit from backend vm orders, for each order there is a invoice button where you click and download the invoice.

In that case, i have 2 issues:

Right now (probably maybe i changed something), for some orders i see the invoice like the attached image (the header area is to some percentage hidden by the content area. Any ideas from where can i change this? (i have installed ARTIO VM invoice component because i wanted to handle orders made by telephone and i don't know if this component somehow overrides the pdf appearance)

Also to some other orders, i see the pdf just fine but with the problem that greek characters appear like ?????. I have read similar post that i have to go to libraries folder and change something about tcppdf, i have done this, but sometimes like Virtuemart stucks, i see some invoices with this problem!

Milbo

I can just advice to try an update to the latest vm2.6.x on a localhost. Ss far as I know, this is fixed.
Should I fix your bug, please support the VirtueMart project and become a member

Now I have 2.6.10 and latest version is 2.6.14. I am afraid that because I have added some custom coding inside some VM core files that I will lose the custom coding.

I tried to find change logs to see which files change till new version and mine with no success.

Do you have a link to see changes in files between versions?

Thank you in advance

Latest of VM2 series is 2.6.17   http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/files

You can compare changes between versions using something like Diffmerge, but now you see why hacking the core is not supported here. If it can't be done using an override then use/write a plugin.  ;)
