Hi!
Dunno how really, but I ended having two different "Vendors" in my website.
The first one "Sample Store" was created when installing the sample data from VM, the second one (iiuc) was created as soon as I modified the name of the Vendor so instead renaming the "Sample Store" I ended (dunno how) creating a new Vendor. Of course that wasn't the thing I pretended. I just was willing to change the name "Sample Store" to something more meaningful as "My Shop".
This was the beginning of the Chaos for a newbie as me. Not kidding.
1)I began creating "Product Categories" and the categories wasn't showing at all (basically because the categories were being created in the other Vendor). I opened a report already because of that, since this vendor issue went absolutly unnoticed and I wrongly thought it was a bug (Categories just created and not being listed? This must be a bug!, I thought. I couldn't expect that any of my actions would have created a new Vendor).
2)When trying to edit a "Product" I began having an "Error: You can't access this resource", because they were now linked to a different Vendor. So I ended with Products created for "Sample Store" and "My shop". And since I couldn't see the details of the Products not willing to be accessed, it was impossible for me to see that these products were living in a different Vendor. Probably this is a bug, since it doesn't have sense to see Products from other Vendors which I am not able to Edit (at least with the Super User full-featured).
3)When two Vendors are living together a nice bug appears regarding invoicing. If you try to modify the invoicing in one Shop and you try the "Preview", you'll see that your changes didn't have any effect. Basically you have to change the invoice style in the second Vendor to be able to see those changes in your current one. Reporting this as a separate bug.
So finally...
4)Seeing that creating (unconsciously) two Vendors  creates this (unneeded at least for me) nightmare, I really want to delete one of the unneeded vendors. Hope this way all become smooth again. How can I delete one of them?I don't see an easy way to perform that.

Finally a couple of suggestions:
1)Please make the ability of creating a new Vendor much harder to do. So an user can't create a new Vendor by pure luck. Linking to "Multi-vendor Common Problems" would be pretty nice.
2) If creating a Vendor is such easy, please, deleting a Vendor should be easy too.
3)Please add more info about dealing with several Vendors in the tutorials explaining, among others, that Product Categories and its Products are attached to specific Vendors.
4)Add more visibility to the Current Vendor , and emphatizing that the Product and Categories are being created for "X" Vendor. This way when Products Categories are listed we can understand that some are hidden because it doesn't belong to the current Vendor.
5)Please, simplify terms: "Shop, Vendor, Shopper". I bet that those 3 can be reduced to "Shop" and "Shop owner" avoiding one extra term and hence reducing the learn curve.

I have to say that I still don't master at all what has happened, but if you need my backup to replicate my issue I will be glad to give it to you.
