virtuemart prices not showing

Hi,
i built a site with joomla 3.3.6 and virtuemart 3.0.4 and i have a problem:
virtuemart do not display product prices but displays the price labels.
Can you help?

but
in Backend -> VM -> shopper group configuration the option "Show Prices" was checked, in all shopper groups

Looks like a standard template.. the price code is there but empty.. hmm

try on Beez template just to make sure

check the normal stuff, no shopper groups assigned, no min quantities etc

try making a new product with only the basic parameters assigned

And also make sure that the default shop currency is defined on the Shop/Vendor tab.

Was there no warning in VM admin?  I seem to remember if no default set there is a very large admin warning?

hmm - that refers to the ECB xml download for live currency conversions

I thought if no currency set the warning said that - will test on my next build
