Fatal error: Interface 'JTableInterface' not found in vmtable.php on line 40

Hi there,
I installed a new version of Joomla (3.2.2) in combination with a template. Then I installed Virtuemart and get this message:
Fatal error: Interface 'JTableInterface' not found in vmtable.php on line 40.

Anybody have a clue what I'm supposed to do to be able to install Virtuemart?

VirtueMart 3 has not been tested with older versions of Joomla. Can you update Joomla to 3.3.6 and then try?

I seem to run into another problem when I want to update: connection reset... also when I want to enter my template via template manager, I get this connection reset message in my browser. Other browsers same problem (using firefox, safari, chrome).
Maybe not for this thread, but if you happen to know a solution...

Can confirm from earlier testing VM3 DEFINITELY doesn't work on J3.2.x - min J3.3.x required - yes the table interface is changed between J3.2 & J3.3

connection reset is your server or network problems normally - ask host

I suggest to use joomla 2.5.28
