Virtuemart - Pending email for the client

Hi,
i'm using VirtueMart 3.0.6.2 in a client website. My client wants the buyer receives an email notification when the order request, even though the state is still "Pending".

I know that the seller must confirm the order in admin area, so that the buyer receives the confirmation. But there is a way to change the code to receive an email, even if it is pending???

Please can anyone help me?

You can go directly to shop/ payment methods/ select payment and set it to result in "confirmed by shopper".

Then in virtuemart/configuration/checkout search for setting "Default Order Status to send email to shopper" and select "confirmed by shopper".

In conclusion, you could simply use the "confirmed by shopper" as pending.

Thanks, for the reply. I already do this and the shopper continues not receaving the email. :(
