Lost don't know where to start

Hello, my name is Paul and I am very very green to all of this.  I am looking into creating a new website for a business I just started.  I am on Fatcow with a domain name already but I need a shopping cart/eCommerce site.  I've looked at so many and I'm confused.  I have found a template/theme that says it's virtuemart. So I need to know in order to set things up on Fatcow what exactly do I need to do and any special tools to do it.

So I see I can install Joomla 3.x on Fatcow. Now once I do that, do I come and download VirtueMart and install it on Fatcow? Then do I download my theme/template?

Will you be installing Joomla using some automatic system on Fatcow (stupid name) or will you be installing it in a normal manual way?

You really should get used to finding your way around Joomla before even thinking about installing another component, especially a big one like VirtueMart. So start with the Joomla documentation, https://docs.joomla.org/Main_Page

Well I figured it out and have Joombla installed along with VirtueMart.  Lots of reading to do.

I have another business site under Wordpress but I don't sell anything on it.
