vat after discount

seems simple, i want VAT to be calculated on the price after using an awo coupon. but the price vm calculates vat on is the price before the discount is applied. resulting in to high vat ammounts. how do i fix this?

Have you got "Calculate the discount before tax" turned on in Awo configuration?

it should calculate tax after discount... and not discount before tax.

turned off it does this

turned on it does this:

tax=25%

it should do this

Subtotal                              299,00 DKK

Moms udgør                          41,86 DKK
Rabat (0gYzJC)                    -89,70 DKK
Total                                   248,30 DKK

41.86 is the correct tax amount (25%) for the 299 mines the rabat (discount)

299-89.70*(25/125)=41.86

but i cannot get this to work...

Discount must be applied before tax is calculated - which is then based on the final product price (discount applied).  Thats what the switch in AwoCoupon Pro configuration enables. If it is not working then I suggest you ask Seyi for help in http://awodev.com/forum

this is where it keeps going wrong...

rules:
product with default rule 25% vat, and greenland 0% so minus 20% dataxbill

the correct total should be 684,79, and not 646.44. difference (38.35, showing in the cart) is in the fact that tax is calculated before discount, and not after discount

chaning awodev settings does not solve it. this does nothing... we have already set the 30% discount  to 24 % (exl vat) it shows the correct tax amount now, but it does not calculate right.

why cannot we solve this. its not rocket science, but turning into almost!!!
