Hi All,

My configuration is: Joomla 2.5.20, PHP 5.3.28 and Virtuemart 2.6.6 (SEF = On)

The Live Site URL for this issue is: http://www.durbanwebsitedesigns.co.za/mangwa12c

On the Home Page of the Website, if I click 'Create an Account' (top left hand side of page) and register my user details, everything works fine and I get the blue boxed message reading :

'Registration Completed!
Your account has been created and an activation link has been sent to the e-mail address you entered. Note that you must activate the account by clicking on the activation link when you get the e-mail before you can login.'

See screen print: 'registration_bug1.jpg'

The problem:

I go the Home Page, as an unregistered user, select a product and put it my basket and proceed straight to the checkout and the 'Bill To & Shipment Information', where I tick the 'Register' box and complete my details.

(It looks like this a 'One Page Checkout' (There is a plugin installed and enabled: VirtueMart2 One Step Checkout - Extension powered by cmsmart.net))

I complete everything, tick the 'Terms & Conditions' box and click the 'Confirm Purchase' button.

Now although the new user is registered at this point there is no the blue boxed message appearing on screen in this instance ('Registration Completed!
Your account has been created and an activation link has been sent to the e-mail address you entered. Note that you must activate the account by clicking on the activation link when you get the e-mail before you can login.'),
so the customer/user doesn't know that they have to go to their email to activate their account.

How do I get that to work?

Thanks in advance.

1. VirtueMart2 One Step Checkout - Extension powered by cmsmart.net is a 3rd party extension and all questions concerning it must be directed to them
2. IMHO user activation is the largest revenue looser u could have on an ecommerce site - why use it - isn't a bit of spam better than lost customers?
