Shopping cart gone spastic: Showing aliases, not showing all items prices

Hello,

I am in the process of upgrading a clients site from 1.5 to 2.5, so far everything has gone wonderfully but now that we are in the home stretch we are finding shopping cart errors.

* When you have more than one product in the shopping cart it only shows the price of every other item, although the total displays correctly; screenshot 'Shopping Cart Products' attached.

* The bill to information is showing odd aliases, screenshot 'Bill To' attached.

* Shipment information has been added but it is still saying:
No shipment selected   
Please select a shipment method
We are sorry, no shipment method matches the characteristics of your order. (As seen in the 'Shopping Cart Products' screenshot)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
