Copying Users from VM 2.0.2 to 2.0.22 install

I have a live site running Joomla 2.5.11 and VM 2.0.2 and I have a dev site I have been working on to replace the current live site. The dev site is also running Joomla 2.5.11 but has VM 2.0.22. I am trying to copy over my user db from my live site to my dev site. I have a username from my live site that I know the password for and am using as a test account. In phpmyadmin I have copied over this single user into my dev sites user table. However, I am not able to log in with this test account.

Is it not possible to do this or am I missing something?

Just a quick update for anybody who reads this.

As it turns out the majority of the migrated user accounts DO actually work. It seems that I was just having issues with the test accounts that I was trying to log in with

The tables are the joomla user table _users, the vm table _vmusers and the addresses _userinfo. There is no need todo any migration from vm2.0.2 to vm2.6 or vm3. There are no changes!
