VirtueMart Reward Points extension

Hello, I was wordering if anyone in the forum has used VirtueMart Reward Points extension by http://www.virtuemartrewardspoints.com/
There is an issue for which I need support, regarding the "auto chip" functionality, I have contacted the developers about 5 times but I didn't get a single answer, that's disappointing and frustrating for a commercial extension I paid for... The problem is that, if a buyer adds his, say, 5 euro credit into the cart that has products of 3 euros, his 2 euros of "change" are gone, they should be there as a calculated balance! I tried to fix that but no luck, if anyone has had any relative experience please post an answer. Thanks a lot.
