PHP 5.3.10-1
This message (This is using still the obsolete view categories! Change it to the new category view with categories layout, for more information please read here http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=120433.0) appeared as I updated VM2.024b to laste release c. I also updated AIO.
Do you have any suggestion to resolve the problem? Thank you.

Thank you for your suggestion. I did read the post but still I don't understand:
There are two main ways,
either you use the joomla menu setting (/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus). Just select the category view (in case you get mixed up, just delete the /components/com_virtuemart/categorieS folder) and choose the categories layout. (I tried to delete the folder /categorieS but all desappears...)

Or use the layout setting in vm. You can set it for all categories or per category. Check your vm config or category settings (where is it in config? I changed category template, now is "Joomla default"; then I changed category layout view, now is set to "list"). After that nothing changed and the message in front end is still there.
How do I update menu links? Just doing them again?
Thank you for your help, now I am quite confused...

Are you using a commercial VM template or some other template overrides? I fixed a commercial site last week by removing the categories overrides and the default VM categories view directory, then reset the Joomla menu links to VM.

My menu settings are shown in http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=120730.msg411904#msg411904 - note that I am using 2.0.25f now which has a subcategory fix.
