Remove Sort by

Is there any way to hide the "sort by" function ?

Please help anyone, is it really that hard to do?

use this in the css file of your template:

div.orderlistcontainer {
     display: none;
}

[MaritimeLobsterExpress]

I copied this code into the custom CSS file box for my template but it didn't change anything.   :(Am I missing something?
