Improve shop and make it work properly

Good morning!
I'm looking for someone to help me to make my existing shop (bio.simone-steiger.ch, joomla 2.5, virtuemart 2) a good working, more professional one!
I bought the template by joomla-monster - with it I can't even update virtuemart - it doesn't work at all. Shopping basket is working unstable, half time not at all (you can press the button with no reaction), feedback module is a chaos - one has to be logged in to write things into the form but you can only login when you buy things. Recently I have several people logging in but not buying things so I ask myself whether this funktion is'nt working at all any more (because you can only login if you put something in the basket before). The categories are highlighted by chance no matter where you are - all in all a real mess! I tried to work it out myself (learning by doing so far) with joomla-monster, but I just don't get any answer but that I shouldn't update virtuemart which doesn't work anyway.
So - in order to make it work I'd like to have professional help. I can imagine that the whole store must be renewed from the beginning. I just like to keep the design more or less - it may look more professional.

I just had a short look at your homepage. I suppose that your problems are simply the result of a small problem with a jQuery javascript file, which is not loading.
Your frontpage (might be your template or the slideshow or a third party extension) is calling
https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.9/jquery-ui.min.js

However, this jquery file doesn't exist. You can type the above url into your browser to see the 404 file not found error. Have a look at this url to see which versions are available: https://developers.google.com/speed/libraries/devguide#jquery (Hover over the 'versions' area with your mouse pointer to see all available versions)
I assume that the template is asking for this file but it could be one of your other third party extensions, too. You need to find out if it is the template or any other extemsion which is asking for this file. The mistake is that Google doesn't host a '1.9'  version. Instead it should be '1.9.1' or '1.9.2' or whatever the developer of the template (or extension) used.

Maybe you can switch off the use of an externally hosted jQuery version.

Also, I noticed that your slideshow images are more than 1 mb each. You can make your homepage loading faster if you reduce that significantly.
