paypal working in sandbox but not Live

Hello,

I'm using VirtueMart 2.0.22a with Joomla 2.5.8 stable.
I'm trying to get the default Paypal payment method working.
I've a business account, with correct IPN / redirection urls set (using https both in those and in VirtueMart settings).
It works fine using the sandbox, IPN sent is VERIFIED, and order is set to Confirmed.
But when switching to live mode, I only get some INVALID ipn, so the order stay Pending.
With a diff of the two logs, it has "first_name=" empty in the live mode, while it's correctly filled in sandbox, don't know if it may come from this.

Any thought ?

...and, is there any other payment method available in all countries, which may replace paypal one ?
This is driving me mad.

Did you try something suitable to your case from 3rd party forum?

No, it's insane.

I'm in process to switch to Skrill / bookmakers, looks a more peaceful solution.
