I am not getting email notifications for new orders

After update to VM 2.0.22a i don't receive email for new order placed on my website.

All other mail function like new registered user, contact form, product information request works.

I've tried to re-upload all VM files via FTP and all solutions for similar problems i've found on this forum, but the problem remain.

Any suggestion?

You could send email notifications when you manually change order status you know. Test it there also.

Is email address correct in VM backend by the way?

The problem was that until the payment was not made ​​the order status was still "pending" and in the configuration of virtuemart was not set up to send emails for orders "pending"
