Product Page setting backend resetting upon save

I don't know if it is after upgrading to the latest virtuemart but when I save a categorie in the backend it resets the default product page to "no override". I use custom template JSN Kido which uses overrides for Virtuemart.
So I set to default and save and if I scroll down it is set to No override again.

As for now I manually editted my Database table virtuemart_categories column category_product_layout

Out of my head I upgraded from 2.0.20B to 2.0.22a

Could it be that default.php not exists in target folder?

What is your option in VM configuration (template section) for product details page?

The option is set to jsn kido pro.

Is it supposed to revert back to no override ?
