Sort custom field on custom fields List

I need to sort custom fields on the custom field list (back end).  Cannot seem to get it right
Been searching on the forum for tips

I can drag & drop when editing a product but is it possible to create a default sorted custom field list.
I have a custom field called "Exercise Wheel" which should be right at the bottom but is instead at the top.

Seems to be an unresolved issue. I do not want to fiddle too much with the DB

why dont the "move up" & "move down" buttons work. there seems to be no code allocated to them?

What is the function of the ordering column in the "Custom Flields" List ?

Yeah this is still broken in 2.0.8e

I just spend 20 minutes changing the orders in the data base only to find I still can't even "sort order" by ID.
So everything is still un-logically presented with no way to "clean it up"

Wee bit annoying.... the only way to have them in order is to delete and start from scratch and hope you don't have to add anything.

First this feature have to been implemented as custom_order in the custom fields.
