Logout on VM Component Selection

Hi,

I have a new installation of VM2.0.20b running with Joomla 2.5.11.

I log in as superadmin and select the VM component and I am immediately returned to the log in screen.

Any ideas as to the likely cause?

Having logged in the second time everything appears to run smoothly and as expected.

Grateful for any suggestions,
