ERROR checkPaypalIps: Error with REMOTE IP ADDRESS = 127.0.0.1

We get this error whenever someone pays with Paypal through our webshop. The payment goes through, but the order is not confirmed and we get no invoice. The error occurs twice with every transaction.

Everything worked fine until a few weeks ago. Where is the problem and what can we do?

We're running VM 2.0.26d on Joomla 2.5.18. The error occurs with or without JoomSEF VM extension turned on.
