Custom field input text

Hello,

I looked at it in the forum but can't find the answer to my issue. I guess it's because I can't find the correct key words..

So I sell tee-shirts with printed text on it and you can write some text up to 12 letters.
- Can I add a custom field to a product, so customers can write a small text for each tee-shirt ?
- Can I set a maximum of 12 letters to that text ?

So in custome field : select plugin then the plugin customer text input..
Which sounds pretty straight forward.. ^^
