Change how Product Module handles sorting

Hi,

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, but all the solutions seem to be for a previous version of VM or slightly different issue.

The front-end products module seems to be sorting by 'modified_on' when 'latest products' is selected in the module settings, I would rather it sort by 'created_on'. I have looked at products.php, but can't find it there. Can anyone point me to where I could find the code for this?
