Move VM1 content to a fresh VM2 installation?

Hi

I have a site with Joomla 1.5 and VM1.1.8, and want to update it to generation 2. When I set it up I was quite new to this, so I would rather start from a fresh installation, which I now have set up (Joomla 2 and VM2). Is there a way to import products and VM user info from my old site to this fresh installation?

this is what I did


what I did was

Take the old site on a test domain.

THEN: use Jupgrade to bring the Users into the 2.5 Format
THEN: export the users into the new install of J2.5 & Vmart 2.0


THEN: import the old vmart tables into the new site.

OLD vmart tables are   jos_vm

NEW vmart tables are jos_virtuemart

THEN: make sure you have your images in the correct folder.

Then run the migrator.

do it on a test domain.
