Gate2shop gateway plugin

Hi Folks.  Does anyone have a working G2S gateway plugin. There is one but its for Version 1 Virtuemart but it does not work with VM 2xx due to the new plugin management system,
Im running out of options to use VN if I cannot get G2S working.
Any suggestions are welcome, but writing my own plugin is beyond be even with the instructions provided.
Is there any way to convert the existing VM 1 G2S gateway to a compatible plugin?

There is no possibility of "conversion" as the api has completely changed - this would need to be coded.
