Custom Fields setup

Hi Everyone,

I know there has been many posts regarding attributers/custom fields for printing website, which in the past has not been possible. I have my fingers crossed that the new VM 2.0 will blow my mind and be able to do this.

What i am trying to achieve is similar to this https://www.readysteadyprint.com.au/store/products/Premium-Business-Cards.html

My biggest need is the ability to have the custom fields change depending on the options selected. For example, If the option "full color 2 sides" is selected  then the next drop down option will only show gloss laminated 2 sides (not 1 side).

I hope this makes sense and i really do appreciate any feedback or advice.

Sorry to resurrect this post, however i am still wondering if this is possible with Virtuemart 2?

Is it possible to have the Attributes change depending on the previously selected attribute. I'm finding this whole custom fields, different attributes and child products thing really confusing.

For example, My product is printed business cards in 2 sizes. Size "A" is available with single sided printing but size "B" can be printed double sided. how can i make the attribute only show "single sided print" if size "A" is selected (not show both single and double sided options). I hope this makes sense. 

Any help would be appreciated.
