Hello
J! 2.5.8 with Virtuemart 2.0.18a

everything works ok but notification mails for order bought by Paypal:
no order confirm for buyer neither for vendor, only mail from paypal to confirm the payment.

How to set up to send out the order mail like for standard payment?

best regards

Peter Pillen

Have you checked the configuration settings in your payment method? There you must set all the details for payments and e-mails for paypal.

antonio

Thank you P2 Peter but I don't see any setting for notification mail into payment configurations.

Peter Pillen

when you click on your paypal payment method there are two tabs at the top: one with payment information and one with configuration. In the second tab, the e-mails can be set for the vendor.

For the outgoing e-mails, you should check your mail settings in the joomla global configuration.

antonio

Hi P2 Peter, the global email works fine and into the attachment there are the settings I see in that tab. I don't find notification options.
Vendor and buyer don't receive notification mail when order is with paypal method, this is the problem.

hmmm... in that case I don't know the answer   :-\

Maybe if you try to reïnstall the VM2 paypal payment plugin again? The e-mails are normally produced automatically. Perhaps one or two files are not working properly.

Did you install the 2.0.18a aio component - or are you using a PayPal plugin from an earlier version?   Are you using SEF?

This thread may help - http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=111537.0

Yes, it is 2.0.18a aio component and yes, joomla core SEF enabled. Everything work fine but the email nothification: if the buyer choose paypal method no notification mail start.
As you suggest into the thread http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=111537.0

Hello
disabled SEF
only registration and paypal mails, no order mail for vendor neither for buyers.

jenkinhill

In the thread I referenced above was a suggestion to check the paypal logs. I think this thread tells you more about getting the log info:  http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=107475
Make a paypal test payment with debug on & check what you see in logs/paypal.log

Also check the server access log for the pluginnotification response from PayPal.

is there a folder called "paypal" in this directory : /plugins/vmpayment? and files inside it?

otherwise the problem is simply that the paypal plugin is not installed.
