Custom plugin drop-down not working

Hi,

I'm hosted on Godaddy servers at the moment..
Running J2.5.6 and VM2.0.12

The issue I'm facing is that I've created a custom field to show up on the product page before adding to the cart and when I go to select this custom field on the custom field tab of the product page, the box below says "No custom Fields. Please use select list to add some new fields". It never populates once I select it.
This is supposed to show a 25 character text field for a customer to add "Vehicle  - Make, Model, Year"

I don't know if it's a java issue or what's going on.

I also have another site running VM 2.0.11e on a test site hosted with siteground and it works fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
