Ok so i am working on something and I needed help.

I want to add specification tables to the product description.
http://i47.tinypic.com/kbpuv4.jpg is a sample of the type of table just a basic one...

I was also wanting to have Tabs for the product such as (description, download, specs, etc) and be able to have info in those any suggestions on the type of mod i should use. I was thinking of using this mod

Hello,

I think you must override the product details template;

I'm a virtuemart newbie, but I think I figured out a few things;

you must create a template file under the /yourJoomlaSiteRoot/templates/yourTemplate/html/productdetails/default.php

(replace YourJoomlaSiteRoot by the root address of your website and yourTemplate by the name of your template).

You can copy the original template file (components/com_virtuemart/views/productdetails/tmp/default.php) on the folder above and modify it.

You must then create the html for your table and use the custom fields (you'll need to search further for this matter, I've some trouble to get the custom fields work properly) for all the information you want to put in it. It's maybe possible to create a custom fields and to put your table directly in it, as html.

It's the same story about your tabs; you have to do it in your new template. You can use an external javascript library to do so.
