Show Featured Products and Promotions as a link

Hello,

I'm new to virtuemart but not new to commerce in general.

I need to build an onlineshop with virtuemart and to be able to set the "featured products and the "promotional products" as a link in module.

Example, the frontpage would consist in casual products, which i know is possible to set in virtuemart. But i do not want to show the featured products and the promotional products, nor the top ten on the frontpage. I need just to display the link to the products,on the left side in a module so that the customer can choose to click on it - if he is interested to see what the new products and the promotional products are.

I've searched for hours, but i didn't find anything on the web...

I know that i can set a module which displays the featured products and the promotional products, but i do not need that. What i need is a link (module) which after clicking on it, goes directly to another site with all featured products and/or promotional products... (like Magento)

Hope somebody could help me...
