Price Display not visible if product contains custom fields

Joomla 2.5.9
Virtuemart 2.0.18a

New issue has appeared and not sure when it occurred:
Individual Product Display
   WITHOUT Custom fields - price shows correctly
   WITH Custom Fields (using stockable cart variant plug-in) - no price showing in the display
Price flows through okay to cart and looks okay on the category page listing of all products - it's only when clicking in to view an individual product that the Price does not appear.
Not hidden in css either.

Same versions on another customers website and all good there. (J 2.5.8 though)

Any idea what I have checked/unchecked? that may have made this happen - into my 3rd day on this and I'm sure it's only minor!!
