¿How can I display a module only on the frontpage?

I have a module set to the home menu item, but it is being displayed on every product page.
¿How can I fix this?
¿Should I delete the module position from my joomla template and put it on the frontpage module?

module/tmpl/default.php

place this before everything

then this at the bottom
