I've launched a (dutch) site last week. I saw a error in the Search module. As I look to the site in Internet Explorer 9 there is in the input box text over the styled search button. Is this an error with my template override or is it a system error?

Sorry for bad Englis I'm dutch.

Hello,

You forgot to mention your joomla and vm versions. Try without template overrides, if is working then is your template issue or your vm custom template.

Any live url?

I am using virtuemart 2.0.12 and Joomla! 2.5.7

I saw it is a bug in my template override. But I don't know how to solve it. I've coppied the template and only edited the css classes. Does anyone have an idea?

Hello,

You mean after search in category view (search results shows in category view). This one is for selecting product type but you don't use them so it's empty (btw, it showing half of it, that's your template issue)

If you want to hide it (some users don't use them) you could edit your custom category template and remove that line,  take  a look over here how you can do it: https://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=107941.msg361030#msg361030
