Manage "add cart" button and product availability dynamically

Hi guys,

I'm a new VM2 developer and after reading documentations on this forum and on the wiki pages, I've some questions about the vmcustom.

Indeed what I wanna do, is to be able to manage dynamically the add to cart button on the product page (detail) based on CF filed from my plugin. I would like to be able to filter the product search, when we show a category per example, to be able to act as if my product were not published, even if it is the case in the VM2  product's admin  page...

Well I don't really know where to begin, if you have some tips, it'll be greatly appreciate
