Creating a custom plugin/module for showing additional pices

Hi all,

I got a question for developing a module or plugin to add extra prices (other suppliers) to the product_detail page.
So if a customer is landed on this page it should see the current price of the article as well as the prices of the other suppliers.
Maintenance will be done with a simple form (breezingforms) so the prices will be added manually.

I'm looking for the best way to start.. I guess it should be a plugin so the content could be loaded within the template.
Any advice would be very helpful..
