shipping method problem

Hi, i have a problem with virtuemart. If a user is in two or more groups, when the order is done and the user click the button, vm prompted to choose the shipping method!
why? This does not happen when a user has set a single group

forgot to mention vm, joomla and php version. Also would be helpful to provide some more information and a url also.
