Add a link to Terms during account creation process

The "agree" shopper field enables the user to agree (or not) to the Terms of the store. It would be more than pertinent to have a popup link of sort to open/see these terms before accepting them ? Currently, there is no link ?

I can even remove this option/field from the list of shopper fields. The radio buttons don't change when I try to select "no" to certain display options ...

Essentially, the client/shopper needs to agree to the Terms on check out, not necessarily during setup ?

Thanks,
Danny

Hi Danny,

Best not to bump: Not good

But I'm confused

You have a terms of service pop up that works : right at the bottom of your page as in the image. Clicking on that shows me the terms of service.

Also at the cart : again the pop up button is standard and has two links that also display the terms of service. One in buttom form and one in text.?

Others have it on the front page as a link - as a matter of policy.

Just wondering where else you would like it displayed : as it looks as though it is already there?

Hi,

I agree; bumping isn't a good thing. But what are my other options ? It had been 2 weeks since I posted the initial question. It was now lost in the bottom where everyday, the question was getting less and less chances of being seen/answered. With VM, there is no "paid support" per se. I would gladly by a support contract or pay for the product to be supported. So, VM users sort of grow "dependent" on the forum for answers. Thus, unlike paid products, this is it.

A also agree with you about the bottom link. It's a menu to the terms of service. I put that there (in a menu module). This is sort of redundant though. The fact remains that ergonomically, the client is filling a form where he is asked to agree to something he cannot get details about ? There needs to be a link (ideally a popup) to the details in there. At least allow us to remove it altogether which I cannot do since "the radio buttons won't change when I try to select "no" to it's display options in the admin interface -> I still want it to appear in the purchasing steps though which is probably why this happens".

Thanks for your help,
Danny
