how to add new delivery of stock?? update stock

what's the easiest way to update stock levels when you receive a new delivery? do you really have to go into every single product and manually calculate new stock levels?
isn't there an easier way - like "shopping" but adding items instead of deducting them? we have 250+ items... will be quite a mission and source of error to do each product manually or export/import excel files.. is there not an option inside the system somewhere?

Hi John, this is great! Thanks a lot! Will definitely check it out - also for updates of other fields, looks very interesting.

Only thing I'm wondering is, you'd still have to manually calculate the new stock level and enter it, is that right?
Would be great if VM had an extra field where you could just upload the amount of new stock that arrived and then the system would automatically add it to stock level... any chance something like that could perhaps be added in future?

This is easy to do with CSVI, as most retailers like to work with spreadsheets. http://www.csvimproved.com - the free version is more than adequate for most purposes.
