Size of images Virtuemart 2.0.8.

Hi,
The size of my images are small.

I want to have a size equivalent to that of the virtuemart demo.

Hi Slixis,

Using Firebug to inspect the images I've noticed that the demo site uses the original image on the product display page, where as you are using the product thumbnail for yours.

It might be a case to turning off the automatic image resizing or simply changing the dimensions of the thumbnails.

Slixis asked for a larger image, not a zoom feature.  Zoomed (enlarged) thumbnails usually look pretty ugly) 
The problem might be a misconfigured path in 'Configuration' - 'Templates' as the the image shown is loaded from the 'resized' image folder instead of the product image folder.
Also, like Ivus recomended, use Firebug to locate the line (probably in vmsite-ltr.css) which scales down the category images.
