I hope to get an answer:

I am facing the following problem:

I have a product with a price of 19.60 €. I would like to add a cart attribute with another price of 29.10 €. Now I am trying to find out the calculation rules, so that the product prices changes to 29.10 €. I am quite frustrated as I don't know how Virtuemart calculates this. My taxes are 19%.

I have really tried every price, but nothing works right.

Gross Price:  28.00 - 19.60 = 8.40    I put that in and the price in the frontend is 29.12 € adding 9.52 €) So I thought okay he adds the VAT.
Net Price: 23.53 - 16.47 = 7,04    I put that in and the price in the frontend is 27.93 adding 8.33 €)

Joomla 2.5.6, VM 2.0.8c

So this is really weired.

Could anybody explain this to me?

Thanks.

Hi,
It looks like it is okay on your web site now, isn't it?
As long as you put the gross price excluding VAT, and that the price variant of your custom fields are excluding VAT, it should be all right (thought I have not tested this extensively).

Yes, now it is right! When I wrote the numbers  I put a comma instead of a point (5,00 € and not 5.00 €). This was the mistake. I found it out yesterday!  :)
