Is it safe to remove jos_vm tables

It appears the migration has worked, although I had to put everything on my ISP's shared hosting to finally get the shopping cart to work properly.
The table prefix on the new site j25_.
Is it safe to remove the old jos_vm tables or will they be needed for something later?
I assume I will need to do that via phpMyAdmin

If you are happy with your migration, nothing is missing, make a backup with akeeba and then delete the old _vm_ tables, vm2 is using virtuemart
